As a real estate agent, I meet many lenders, and I can confidently say Julie Edward is PHENOMENAL. She is creative, well informed, and an excellent communicator. I can not endorse her highly enough. I even used her for the financing component of my own home purchase!

Great I love the fast that they work on my house I hasn’t planing on getting a house becaser I thought it was more dificult, but with the help of Highland Mortage in a month I got my house Im so happy I recommend them 💯 🥳🥳🥰

Very nice and explained everything to me . I This was my first time buying a home and it was stressful and a lot, but They helped tremendously.

I have been doing real estate for 23 years and fortunately, we trusted Ashely to do the impossible. Sure, Ashely did everything she could to make the loan happen, that is what is expected of a stellar lender, but what sets Ashely apart from the rest, is her heart. She genuinely cares. It wasn't just another transaction. She stays engaged in every step of the way. Even when she was out of town, she made herself available. I cannot say enough of the wonderful, Ashely Milam. All I can say is, trust her, she is truly there for YOU!

Eric Rothberg and the entire team at Highland Mortgage are stellar in their proficiency at not only determining the best possible loan program for home buyers, but then offering exceptionally gracious and empathetic support of my clients throughout the entire process. From the first conversation, through accepting an application, managing the appraisal and underwriting, all the way to the closing table, Eric goes above and beyond in helping clients know what is happening, what the next steps are and how to succeed.

Great experience start to finish. Mark and his team were fantastic: knowledgeable, proactive communication. Mark put together great personalized videos explaining products, timing and process, but he was also always available to answer questions or hop on a call. At least weekly updates leading up to closing, and good tool to see rates and points options. Incredible service and great products!

Wayne and his team were great. It was easy.

Krishen is great! He is so responsive, professional, and warm. He explains everything very clearly and was very reassuring during the whole process. With him we were able to lock our interest rate before the recent spike which we are very happy about, and he made sure to update us every step of the way during our 25-day closing window. Would definitely recommend!

Laura was so wonderful to work with during my first home purchase! There were many terms that were new to me regarding financing and lending. She was very patient and helpful the entire process and helped me navigate and understand my options. Laura and the entire team at Highland Mortgage were also incredible communicative. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful this was during the process, especially with my busy work schedule! Sometimes I couldn't get to things until a couple of days later and they were incredibly quick to file and process things once I sent them. They made the entire process smooth and easy to keep up with, I can't recommend them enough!!!

As a 26-year Certified Residential Appraiser, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many mortgage companies over the years, and Highland Mortgage stands out as one of the most professional and enjoyable companies to work with. I’ve known Mark Milam for nearly 20 years, and I’ve always been impressed by his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to doing things the right way. Through my interactions with the Highland team and the professionals who work with them, I consistently hear positive feedback about their process, communication, and overall customer experience. It’s refreshing to work with a mortgage company that values relationships, professionalism, and providing a great experience from start to finish. Keep up the great work, Highland Mortgage!

I highly recommend Chris Heidt for your next loan purchase. He was on top of everything from day one of introducing him to my buyers all the way through to the end. He went above and beyond for our buyers and for us and I will surely be referring him business again in the near future. One of the best in the Fort Myers and SW Florida area.

Working on a real estate deal from afar can be unsettling, to say the least — but Morgan and his entire team at Highland Mortgage made the process feel effortless. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive, patient, and proactive in keeping me informed every step of the way. Their professionalism was matched only by their genuine care and attention to detail. Morgan and his team anticipated challenges before they arose, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely confident despite the distance. I can’t thank Morgan and the Highland team enough for going above and beyond. If you want a mortgage partner who treats you like family and delivers exceptional results, look no further than Highland Mortgage.

Martha was available any time we needed her and got the information requested to us quick.

It was great working with Laura. As a first time home buyer she explains everything thoroughly and is very responsive.

Great experience thank you BARBARA

Barbara Winters is a phenomenal human being. As a first time homebuyer, the process can be daunting. However, Barbara worked tirelessly to ensure she got me the best deal. She educated me and encouraged me throughout the process, and she ensured that I was cleared to close. She and Julie are awesome.

Very professional. Kept all parties informed every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

1st time home buyer, I could not of picked a better local lender to use, very helpful, explained every little details, answered every question and emails. They kept you updated on what's happening and current loan status.

Highland Mortgage made the process a much more manageable experience than I could have ever anticipated. The preliminary personalized video upon the completed pre-approval was a hint to me that they were not your everyday mortgage processing business. If needed, they will educate the customer when questions arise. Lastly a patient, knowledgeable team make what could be a grueling process so much more palatable.

Krishen is always the best to work with

Martha at Highland Mortgage helped us every step of the way through our loan application. Excellent service!!

Fantastic experience working with Mark and his team at Highland Mortgage. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and a great resource throughout my entire home search. As a first-time homebuyer, I expected financing to be one of the more stressful parts of the process, but Mark made it completely effortless. He and his team moved quickly enough that I was even able to waive my financing contingency and strengthen my offer. From pre-approval through closing, everything was seamless. I couldn't recommend Mark and Highland Mortgage more highly!

We had a great experience working with Martha as our loan officer. As first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and nerves throughout the process, but Martha always made sure we knew exactly where we were every step of the way. She was so helpful with the GA Dream program and took the time to explain things clearly. Even when our closing got pushed back and I started feeling nervous, she was very reassuring and helped ease my worries. She was patient, supportive, and wonderful to work with. We’re so thankful for all of her help and would definitely recommend her to anyone going through the home buying process!

Ashley at Highland Mortgage was a pleasure to work with. She is knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and very responsive. She uncomplicated the process for my husband and me to get a mortgage. We highly recommend working with her!

As first timers, Conor was there to answer all of our questions and support us in the search and financing processes, every step of the way. We appreciate the entire team's open line of communication and accessibility!

Mark Milam and the Highland Mortgage team are, hands down, the best I've worked with. I've never had a bad experience with a lender before, but Mark is simply head and shoulders above the rest; my husband, who has no reason to be impressed by loan officers, was genuinely astounded, and I say that as someone who works in the mortgage industry myself. Our financial picture has gotten considerably more complex over the past few years, so we specifically sought out someone who really knows the ins and outs, and Mark exceeded every expectation. He was incredibly responsive and unbelievably fast. He put together a full array of loan options for us almost immediately and walked us through every detail until we understood exactly what we were choosing and why. To ground this in specifics: we had Mark and his team handle a purchase and a refinance on two different properties simultaneously, and we closed both on the same day, just 21 days after our initial application. Whenever something tricky came up, Mark was able to explain it clearly and make it feel manageable almost instantly. The technology Highland uses made comparing loan scenarios and options easy to navigate, and the application and document upload process was smooth from start to finish. The support team (processing, assistants, everyone) was excellent too. We couldn't be happier with the experience.

Just bought a home with Mark as my loan officer. He and his entire team are consummate professionals who helped me understand, and walked me through, every step of the process. I’d use him again and again if I could and recommend him very highly!

Always a pleasure....great communication, on time and smooth closing.

We had the pleasure of working with Julie Edwards on obtaining a mortgage for our new home. Julie helped us with our first home purchase years ago and because of the quality of her service combined with the competitive rate we received from Highland Mortgage the decision to work with her again was a no brainer! This time around we had to sell our current home and time it with the purchase of the new home. Julie presenting us with all of our options for downpayment depending on whatever situation we could potentially experience and explained each of them thoroughly to make sure we were comfortable and confident in our decision. 100% recommend using Julie and Highland Mortgage!

They work so hard and are able to make everything seamless. We will forever be grateful to the two of them and all their hard work. Highland Mortgage is a wonderful company, and these two ladies are two of the best!

Fantastic loan servicer - very responsive, knowledgeable, and offers competitive rates, especially for PMI. Most importantly, Laura and her team excel in a competitive housing market, providing quick turnaround on updated pre-approvals and accommodating shorter appraisal contingency and due diligence periods. We compared five loan servicers: PNC, DCCU, Ameris, Fairway, and Truth & Lending (Laura). It’s challenging to compare all the options directly, but after a thorough review - considering not just interest rates, but also PMI, float-down opportunities, rate matching, origination fees, availability, refinancing costs, and closing timelines - Laura stood out as the best choice. Her team is also a pleasure to work with. Go with Laura - you won’t regret it.

Damon is very knowledgeable and I was kept up to date with the progress he made with our mortgage

Dave always performs...that's why he's the first call!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Martha Cunningham on countless transactions as a real estate agent, and when it came time to purchase my own home, there was no question who I would trust with my loan. She is simply the best. Her communication is exceptional, she’s always one step ahead, and she consistently keeps everyone informed throughout the entire process. No matter how busy things get, she remains organized, responsive, and dedicated to making sure every detail is handled properly. As both a real estate professional and a client, I’ve seen firsthand the level of care, knowledge, and commitment she brings to every transaction. Mark helped me through every single step of the way. He picked up the phone anytime I called. Can’t recommend him enough.

Eric Rothberg and his team at Highland Mortgage are the best!!! With the crazy market in Atlanta still in multiple offer situations due to the lack of inventory, Eric has helped several of my clients get into homes. He approves up front so they are ready to go and the appraisals come in so fast!! We recently closed in 16 days. They are the absolute best!!!

Martha gave 5 star service. Weekly updates, stayed in touch with everyone involved. Closing got a little off track due to a seller issue. Martha was right there with all of us making things happen.

We recently closed on a house as a first time home buyer with Highland Mortgage and they were exceptional to work with. They were extremely prompt with communications and offered the best rates. I would absolutely work with them again!

Highland Mortgage, specifically Martha Cunningham, honestly had the most clear communication, answered all of my questions in a timely manner. They were absolutely amazing. They always kept me updated on every step of the process and were clear when they needed something from me, what steps I needed to take to complete that task! It was a great experience, and thanks to them, I’m a homeowner!

Great communication and follow through! Eric and his team make the process as painless as possible. I definitely recommend him.

David and his team are stellar. Let me tell you why: not all home purchases are pleasurable some of them come out of separation. Finances need to be thrown into the proper order and your credit needs to show your true intent. David and his team help me gather all my information. The team was on top of the process and guided me through every step. It's very difficult still in today's time for a self-employed female who is part of an older age set to get the ball rolling. With David and his team not only did my ball roll we got a strike.

Absolutely loved working with Tara and her team!! They made the home buying process a breeze! I would recommend to anyone buying a home 10 stars if possible

I have to say this for sure, while many lenders were not sure how to handle the loan application, Julie Edwards was very knowledgeable and competent enough to take it forward with ease and hassle free throughout the process. Required guidance and very patients with our request and questions, very friendly and at the same time very professional. At times dedicated time while in vacation to ensure meet the tight timeline for closure. Our family is delighted to work with Julie and will be thankful for her support. We will recommend our family and friends with no second thought. She is best ! I could have given 6 star rating if there was an option. Thank you Julie for all your support and effort! you did magic for sure.

It was comforting working with Rich again. His heart is in it everytime.

Laura & her team are the absolute best! I finally closed on my home & would not be here without such an amazing group of people! I was told I could not qualify for a home by other lenders. I spoke with Laura & she immediately said of course you can. I trusted her throughout the entire process & she & her team did not disappoint. They responded to every email immediately, they answered every question no matter how small. They reassured me along the way & made the process so easy & smooth. I’ve owned a home in the best & never had the process been so seamless as this one was. I would recommend everyone I know to Highland Mortgage as long as Laura & her team are there! 😊

Laura and the Highland Mortgage team worked quickly to enable us to buy our first home. His communication and ability to explain every detail gave my wife and I a great deal of comfort and trust throughout the process. I would work with him again without question and 100 percent recommend working with him and his great team.

I've had the pleasure of working with Krishen Shaw on multiple transactions now, and he continues to impress me every single time. Krishen is the consummate professional, responsive at every hour, accessible whenever questions come up, and always a step ahead of what the deal needs next. His knowledge of loan products and the lending landscape is exceptional. He takes the time to walk through every option clearly so clients can make the best decision with confidence, never rushing the process or glossing over details. What truly sets Krishen apart, though, is how hard he fights for his clients. When challenges come up (as they always do in this business), he meets them with creativity and persistence rather than excuses. He keeps all parties informed, hits every deadline, and makes the closing process feel genuinely seamless. Having a lender of Krishen's caliber on a transaction is invaluable, and the consistency he delivers deal after deal is rare. He has earned my full trust and my highest recommendation. I look forward to many more transactions together.

The entire team at Highland Mortgage was equally impressive—friendly, organized, and clearly dedicated to customer service. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend Conor and Highland Mortgage to anyone looking to finance or refinance their home.

David and his team were very informative and responsive throughout the home buying process and answered any questions we had. Additionally, their workflow for documenting financials was very straightforward and easy to follow which helped us close quickly and securely without any surprises. Would recommend them again.

Eric was so wonderful to work with. His response time regarding every inquiry I made was so timely. He has a very positive attitude and willingness to educate the Listing agent in lesser known products giving realistic outcomes and timeframes. He stays ahead of the curve and was able to close this transaction weeks earlier than originally suggested. 5 stars for a job that exceeded my expectations!! (I am a very seasoned agent and I was so impressed!!)

Highly recommend … Martha did an amazing job and kept us all updated as things happened. She would send a Friday, team email on the progress for that week.

Laura and team were wonderful! They answered all of my questions as a first time homebuyer and were very timely in communication. I would / will definitely use them again in the future.

Highland was fantastic and alleviated a ridiculous amount of pressure during the buying process. I was very particular about what I wanted from a lender and they came through in the best way!

I closed on my new house in Temple, GA on March 31st, 2026, my dream of home ownership would not have been possible if it was not for Krishen Shah and his team of professional, of Highland Mortgage, who ensured that every 'I' was dotted and every 'T' was crossed which caused my closing to go off without a hitch. Highland Mortgage customize thier financial products to their customers and I would use their services again and I will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Krishen and team.

We had such a great experience with Julie at Highland Mortgage! As first-time homebuyers, we had so many questions, and she was always patient, kind, and willing to explain everything in a way that made sense. Her spreadsheets and budget breakdowns were a game changer for us. We felt confident every step of the way and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a lender!

Eric at Highland Mortgage is the best, we worked with him 3 years ago when purchasing a townhouse. When we were ready to find a home and get some more space, he was my first call. He and his team are ahead of the ball to ensure there are no delays to closing and they were able to come in with the most competitive rates and fees. Thanks Eric!

Mark was great at communicating and wasn’t work with.

Laura was great! She stepped in to help get a deal across the finish line. My clients were impressed with her knowledge and communication. Will use again!

We had a painless experience working with Dave Sterling and his team. Everyone we talked to was pleasant and knowledgeable .

A friend recommended Sue Hamilton to us, and we were extremely satisfied with the help she gave us. She answered all of our questions (even the obvious ones) and our application was handled quickly and with no problems at all. Sue was always honest, helpful, and prompt in her responses. We would recommend Sue to anyone.

Laura Heard was instrumental in helping my clients win in a competitive market. She was responsive, proactive, and even made herself available on a Saturday to ensure we had everything needed to submit a strong offer. Her efficiency and communication helped us secure the contract and close on time. Highly recommend!

Mr. Damon, has been the best loan officer ever. He is so knowledgeable and he truly care for his customers. He always ensure that all tasks were complete and on time. You always know what was coming next in the process. I would recommend him to everyone that I know in the market for a loan.

I recently refinanced my mortgage with the help of HighlandMortgage. Laura and her staff were once again super helpful with the process. They really worked with me and were very patient with my schedule. They offered many valuable pointers and brought to my attention details that I did not even think about. It was really great working with them again and I consider them a true asset in the world of mortgage finance. 😊

Working with Laura, Alexa, and Julie was an absolutely smooth and painless experience from start to finish. They kept me consistently updated throughout the entire process, which gave me confidence and peace of mind. Laura took the time to walk me through several options so I felt comfortable with every decision. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally by the whole team, making the entire process straightforward and stress-free. Susan and her team are incredible! She makes the whole process not feel as daunting and is always there to answer any questions you may have! She’s thorough and knowledgeable which made my husband and I so comfortable using Highland Mortgage! Buying a house (especially in another state) isn’t east, but she sure made it feel like it was!!! We would give her 10 stars if we could!!!!

Our first home buying experience was such a breeze thanks to the team at Highland mortgage. Laura was always available and ready with answers to all of our funky questions. We are so thankful to Laura, Julie, and Alexa for all of their hard work getting us to close in under 60 days!

I am a first-time homebuyer and Tara and her team with Highland Mortgage were amazing throughout the entire process. She is knowledgeable and was quick to answer all of my questions. A lot of added paperwork, but our loan was unique and they got it done in a tight timeframe.

Michelle made my mortgage process so extremely easy and fast. I was able to close in less than three weeks. Incredible.

5 STAR EXPERIENCE, hands down. If I could give Sue ten stars, I would without a hesitation. Sue Hamilton made the mortgage process smooth, efficient and remarkably quick. Everything moved so quickly that it resulted in an earlier closing date. I will recommend her over and over again.

Always an easy transaction with Laura and her team!

I had a great experience working with the staff of Highland Mortgage, especially Ashley Milam. Her knowledge and insight reassured me through the whole process, and her communication was top-notch even when 5 time zones away!

Let me tell you about our 5 star experience! We just closed 2 loans with the awesome team at Highland Mortgage. Both were fairly intricate with the way we had to work them and the way that Laura, Alexa, Julie, and the rest of the Truth In Lending team went above and beyond! This is truly life changing for our family and we couldn't have hoped for a better result! We'll definitely be directing our friends and family in the direction of Highland Mortgage for all their future Mortgage needs. The process was as painless as can be and much smoother than we were anticipating.

We had a great experience working with Eric Rothberg at Highland Mortgage for our first time home buying process. We used a VA home loan, and Eric was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole financing side of buying a home in Atlanta feel simple and stress-free. He was very responsive, explained everything clearly, and kept us informed the entire time, which made a huge difference as first-time buyers. If you’re buying a home in Atlanta, especially using a VA loan, I highly recommend working with Eric and Highland Mortgage.

From the first conversation, Will Hornsby was candid and thorough in guiding us. We had a bit of a complex situation but because of his due diligence, vast experience, access to a wide bandwidth or resources and personal care, we were able to purchase a home in the area we really wanted to be in, within our range. We loved the smaller boutique service because it was friendly and personal. Will was incredible with fielding plenty of my questions with such grace, kindness and reassurance along the way. It’s a stressful process but we can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience! We highly recommend Will and the team at Highland Mortgage!

Martha was great to work with and excellent at staying on task with the buyers paperwork. The buyer closed without a glitch.

Ashley and her team at highland mortgage where awesome. They were very timely and efficient and helped us close on our new house as seamlessly as possible.

They were responsive, laid out all of the information very clearly for us, and were always enthusiastic about answering our (many) questions. We <3 Sue and Highland Mortgage!! Plus, her adorable pup, Toaster, joined us for closing and provided 10/10 emotional support 😊

Morgan Gall & Highland Mortgage were very helpful and great to work with! Morgan always made himself available for questions and worked unconventional hours to help us close on our first house. We are very thankful and recommend his services. Thanks!

Refinancing our mortgage went smoother and quicker than we could have imagined thanks to the guidance and professionalism of David Starling. We highly recommend David because of his expertise and friendliness.

Mark Milam and the rest of the Highland Mortgage team were pivotal to our smooth and quick closing on our new home. The rate was competitive, but what set Mark and team apart is the care and attention they put into making sure you understand each step. Mark was always responsive to our questions, (via call or email) and he used excel modeling and youtube videos to make the numbers make sense. The sellers wanted a quick close, and that was only possible thanks to this team. Thank you for making this process seamless and headache-free!

2021- Mark and his team made a very complex process seem like reciting the ABCs. I had never done anything like this before in my life. I felt supported and I was treated with genuine kindness and respect. Every step of the way I felt like I was making informed choices and being guided to make intelligent decisions. It’s a 30 year, very expensive commitment. I highly recommend Mark Milam and the Highland Mortgage team. Edit - Now again in 2026. Same wonderful experience. Highly recommend Mark Milam and Highland Mortgage. Stayed in contact, available to answer questions and even anticipate questions. Thank you again Mark and Team!

Working with Zach Shelburne was great! Tremendous customer service. He is an exceptional mortgage banker. Zach cares about you as a person and your financial goals. He is an excellent mortgage advisor and makes the home financing process smooth and easy to understand. Truly appreciate all of his efforts to help us get into our dream home!

Cannot recommend Mark at Highland Mortgage enough. Every step of the way, he went above and beyond. He was so knowledgeable and really took the time to inform us of our options and help us find the right solution. Even at closing, the seller's agent said how incredible his company is.

Laura and her team did a stellar job helping us with th mortgage for our new home. We are grateful for their professionalism, detail orientation and responsiveness to help us get through closing without any issues.

Great mortgage company with fantastic customer service.

We had an outstanding experience working with our mortgage broker. As first‑time homebuyers, he went above and beyond to guide us through the process with confidence and ease. Issues that would have been difficult or time‑consuming with a traditional bank were no problem for him, and he streamlined areas where banks would have required far more documentation. He was incredibly responsive, available almost any time of day, and even came to our closing. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home.

Exceptional service. This was my second time using Laura and Highland Mortgage and the service could not have been better. They are a stellar team of true professionals!

10/10. Easy to work with, knows his stuff, and on top of it.

Mrs. Tara and her team were amazing to work with and very helpful with the process of being a first home owner. I would highly recommend Tara and the Highland Mortgage team for anyone looking to own a property. They are very professional, helpful, and most importantly readily available to help with all aspects of the process.

Mark was great! He provided great videos to break down everything we were looking at and he gave multiple options to consider and find what fit best for our situation. He was very responsive and helpful. It felt like a very simple process with Mark. Highly recommend!!

Mark and the team were great, highly recommended!

Sue Hamilton and co are the best in the business. Easy to work with, easy to communicate with, kind and caring. A high recommend from me, especially for folks in the entertainment business who go from project to project.

Mark Milam is always great to work with. He helps lay out all the facts so you can make the right financial decision. He works hard to win your business and get you the best deal possible.

Connor did a great job. Good communications and customer service. I'd recommend him if you need a mortgage loan!

I Wanted to take the time to leave this review as my experience working with Highland Mortgage has surpassed my expectation after trying to work with two previous ones who were almost no help at all to help me and my wife with our first home buying experience specifically the professionalism, attention to detail and patience that came from Laura Heard we were at a deadened when two previous loan officers told us we couldn’t get the condo we wanted Laura walked us through a process that wasn’t even mentioned before got us approved and explained to us how it all worked, we felt really taken care of and we got a really great starter home and quick responses great attitudes and very polite thank you Laura for the great experience we will definitely seek this company again in the future when we are ready to move into a bigger space when my kids get a bit older thank you so much.

Truth and Lending team is always wonderful to work with, efficient communication, thorough attention to detail and the best customer service from a lender you can receive. I look forward to working with them more in the future. Thanks team!

She represented the buyer of my listing, everything was prompt and ontime, look forward to working with her again in the future!

I had an amazing time working with this team, they were very courteous, professional and worked all around the clock to make my deal happen as fast and efficient as possible. Thank you all for your diligence.

Michelle Mueller truly saved my deal. After my buyer’s previous loan officer was unable to secure financing, Michelle stepped in and delivered, quickly and efficiently, even during the holidays. Her responsiveness, knowledge, and problem-solving skills made all the difference in getting my client to the closing table. As a realtor, I value lenders I can trust in tough situations, and Michelle exceeded expectations. I would absolutely recommend her to clients and colleagues.

We had an amazing experience for my son and him being a first-time home buyer with Tara Purvis and her amazing team at Highland Mortgage! Always friendly, helpful and professional!

I represented the Seller on a home in Mancos Colorado. The buyers lender kept me in the loop and answered any questions promptly. Thanks for a smooth transaction!!

Great experience with Laura and the crew at Highland Mortgage.

Always a pleasure working with Hollie.

I had a wonderful experience with Highland Mortgage. Hollie helped me greatly with the whole process of applying for a home loan.

Hollie is very professional. She was patient with me as I am a first time homebuyer. Hollie answered all questions and was prompt with getting back to me. Her attitude and expertise was top tier! She is amazing!!! Also, the underwriter and the rest of the Highland Mortgage Company were all amazing!!! I’d choose them over and over again! 10/10 highly recommend!

I was the listing agent for a transaction in which Eric was the lender who represented the buyer. Eric made the process smooth efficient and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Dave Starling has now helped me process multiple loans within the past few years , expertly navigating and advising on all financial products and offers. Highly recommend working with Dave and his team.

Krishen is amazing! He made what could have been a truly stressful process a walk in the park! We were able to meet a short closing date on time despite all that came up in the 3 weeks from going under contract to closing. Thanks Krishen; looking forward to working with you again next time!

Rich was always responsive during this process. He was patient with my lack of technology and made things happen. I would highly recommend his services.

Mark Milam and the entire Highland Mortgage Team were professional, efficient, and clear throughout the mortgage process. They put us at ease. You can trust this responsive and responsible lender.

Choosing to work with Conor Molloy and his team at Highland Mortgage was one of the best decisions we made during our home-buying process. While this wasn’t our first home purchase, our first experience came with a lot of challenges that we fully expected to run into again. We didn’t experience any of that this time, and a huge part of that was because of Conor and his team. Conor was incredibly communicative, proactive, and clear from start to finish. Because we were relocating across state lines and managing a same-day double closing, having someone this organized and responsive made all the difference. He made a complex process feel straightforward and stress-free. Conor also worked seamlessly with our realtor, and together they truly operated as a unified team. Everything stayed aligned, on track, and moving quickly, which gave us a lot of confidence throughout the process. Any time we had questions, Conor was always available and took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. His team was just as responsive and professional, and honestly made the sellers’ mortgage company look unorganized by comparison. We would absolutely recommend Conor and his team without hesitation. A true five-star experience!

Amazing help me through the whole process and answered any questions I had.

So great to work with! Very responsive through the whole process and worked super hard right after New Years to fix an issue that could have delayed our closing, would highly recommend!!

Mark was great to work with- the process went smoother than expected and I closed before the end of the year :) Thank you!!

It’s always a pleasure working with Michelle! Every transaction I have with her is a breeze🙌🏽

Krishen and his team at Highland Mortgage were consummate professionals every step of the way. They helped us navigate this complex process and now we are realestate investors because of them. Thanks Team for all you do.

After a rough experience with another lender, I came to Laura Witte and her team based on a recommendation from a friend. When I explained how things went sideways with our previous lender, Laura immediately brought a sense of calm, clarity, and confidence to the process. Communication was consistently clear and prompt, questions were answered directly, and we always knew exactly where things stood. Her team helped us navigate both a bridge loan and a conventional loan with competitive rates and thoughtful guidance at every step. Just as importantly, they followed through on everything they promised and remained readily available during the most time-sensitive parts of closing. After a stressful start, working with Laura and her team restored our confidence in our home buying journey. I recommend Laura and her team without reservations. Thank you!

He and his team were great to work with and super quick to respond to any questions I had. Was my first time through this process and they made it easy to understand. Highly recommended.

I am so happy that Lindley introduced you to us! This has been a difficult listing for me because every other loan officer we spoke with said that the condo building couldn't go conventional and people starting removing their condos from the market and just leasing them out. We stuck it out and here comes Mark. Smooth sailing and we were able to gather happily around the closing table and then Tedd could move on with his life. I was very happy to announce the closing and to share your info to the other listing agents who had withdrawn their listings. And I also look forward to working with you in the future with my buyer clients. Thank you!!

Hands-down Michelle Mueller is one of the best in the business. I can’t thank you enough for making everything so smooth and worry free. Thank you

As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions, and Conor was always patient and took the time to explain everything. Highly recommend!

Laura and her team were fantastic and the whole process was incredibly smooth. I highly recommend working with her!

Absolutely the best in town I would give ten stars if it was possible! Martha was friendly and was super knowledgeable in her field! And never left us guessing what was happening next! Love love love

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Sue and team met a tight schedule with true professionalism and diligence. Sue has been my loan officer many times and each time the experience gets better. Her whole team is amazing and makes what can be a stressful experience, a breeze. I would 10000/10 recommend them if you want to close on time and get the best possible deal for your situation.

Buying a home is not an easy process at all. Mrs. Susan made sure that I got to that signing table to get my home. I really appreciate her taking this journey with me and I definitely learned a lot.

Thanks for the great communication and taking care of our folks.

Eric and the whole Highland Mortgage team are incredible. As a real estate professional, our lending partners are some of the biggest aspects of our business and they can make or break a sale. With Highland, I have never had a delayed closing, my loans have always been wrapped up early, and they have very competitive rates. Thanks highland!

Tara is the best mortgage lender again and again!

Very helpful

Damon and his team were so great to work with on refinancing my home. Damon was super responsive, helpful and really cared about my needs. I’ve always heard that getting a mortgage or refinancing is always a grueling task, but it didn’t feel that way at all working with Damon - he made things super easy and stress free. I highly recommend!

Mark & his team were exceptional to work with when purchasing our first home. Mark clearly walked us through all parts of the loan and was always available and promptly answering our questions. Would highly recommend working with Mark & Highland Mortgage!

The overall experience with Ashley (and Highland) was reassuring! Ashley literally “held my hand” thru the entire process and turned a stressful and somewhat frightening experience into a rewarding and comforting one! “Gratitude” is such a simple adjective, but it packs a whole lot of gratefulness into an experience where so much is “potentially” on the line! A soulful lender who absolutely has “your” interests in mind.” A huge THANK YOU for holding my hand and getting me through the process!!

Very good service!! Thank you

As a buyer's Realtor, communication with the lender is important in order to have a smooth transaction. I am always impressed with Hollie's communication and professionalism. Hollie also had this particular loan approved one week ahead of our original closing date so we were able to close early! Using Hollie was a win-win for everyone!

I can't say enough good things. Fantastic.

Derrick Abbott and Carissa Wallace, The perfect duo 😅✨ Thank you for this long but at the same time successful process. Thank you for trusting me. My first house at 22 I still can't believe it, eternally grateful to both.

Joanne Hudson at Highland Mortgage was phenomenal on our recent Columbia closing. Clear communication, quick turnarounds, and she kept everyone calm and on track. Couldn’t have asked for a better lending partner!

Krishen made our mortgage process simple and stress-free. He was communicative, helpful, and guided us every step of the way. Highly recommend!

A Great job of communicating on what was going on with weekly updates.

We worked with Conor and his team in the purchase of our house and things could not have gone smoother. Communication was amazing and super fast responses to all our question. Highly recommend Conor and his team.

Damon and his team at Highland Mortgage were incredible to work with over the past several months. They are all readily available if questions were to arise throughout the financial process and truly, I was left stress-free during my first home buying experience. I would recommend Damon to anyone looking for a lender in the greater Wilmington area.

This was our second time working with Conor, and as expected, the process was smooth. We got a great rate, felt supported throughout the process and closed quickly. Thank you for your time and energy getting our family the best possible mortgage, Highland Mortgage team!

I wish I could give more stars!! Zach Shelburne with Highland Mortgage was amazing from start to finish and was the hero of this deal! He worked tirelessly to assist the buyer achieve his dream of home ownership. It would NOT have happened without Zach's persistence and diligence, and I am beyond grateful to have had him play such a vital role! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We recently worked with Krishen for our first home purchase, and we are so grateful that we had him in our corner! As a first-time homebuyer it was a slightly stressful and overwhelming process, but Krishen did his best to make it as smooth and manageable as possible. What stood out most was his exceptional communication. He was always tried to be available to answer our questions (even in the evenings and on weekends!) and proactively kept us informed at every stage of the process. Krishen was extremely knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to clearly explain all of our options and making sure we understood every detail and we feel that he worked hard to secure a great rate for us. I highly recommend Krishen and the entire team at Highland Mortgage to anyone in need of lending services. Thank you for helping make our dream of owning a new home come true!

Absolutely love working with Joanne. It is always a pleasure. She is more than helpful always goes out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly. She goes above and beyond to get you information and answers to questions. You have overall amazing experience as always.

This team made a potentially frustrating experience remarkably easy and streamlined. They were amazing!

Sue was such a pivotal force during this process to help me buy my first home! She was always available to answer my questions and provided such great insight into the process. Even though I had some complicated financial history, she was able to advise me with both realism and optimism, and made this whole process much less stressful than I anticipated. I strongly recommend working with her.

Ashley is a world-class partner for anyone navigating the landscape of mortgages and home loans. I simply cannot overstate how easy she is to work with. Her approach is proactive, efficient, informative, and most importantly, personal. She moves the process along, keeps all the players in-the-loop, and pays attention all the way to the last step (and beyond). At every step along the way, it is obvious that she truly cares about the people she is serving.

Leila is the greatest. She is a wonderful person with an outstanding character and is truly excellent at her job, very familiar with the industry and their processes. This was our first home purchase through a lender, and her knowledge and experience allowed us to be proactive in the home-buying process, which created a smooth buying process with little to no issues. She kept an eye out for our best options throughout the entire process. Leila also kept us informed and answered all the questions that we had. We started this journey 6 months ago and it has been an absolute privilege to work with and get to know Ms. Leila in these past months. Amanda, the loan processor, was quick and responsive to process the loan. After dealing with a bunch of nonsense from the lender for the buyers of our previous home, I quickly realized that Leila and Highland Mortgages' performance is much higher than the industry standard. If need to buy another home, I know exactly who I will be calling. 5+ STARS!

I am grateful for the smooth professional experience I had with David Starling and his staff Scarlet and Chelsea at Highland Mortgage. Every question I had was answered promptly and they worked very efficiently coordinating with the real estate agent, the closing attorney and insurance broker all the way through.

No one better !

I had an outstanding experience working with Mark Milam and his team at Highland Mortgage for my family’s recent home purchase. Despite incredibly tight timelines, they made it possible to close on my new house in just two weeks, something I thought was impossible! From start to finish, the process was seamless, incredibly transparent, and executed without a single hitch. What truly set them apart was their unwavering professionalism and dedication. Mark kept us informed every step of the way, answered all our questions promptly, and even attended the closing to ensure everything went perfectly. His team's attention to detail and genuine care made what could have been a stressful ordeal feel effortless and exciting. I can't recommend them highly enough—if you're in the market for a mortgage, look no further. Thank you for making our dream home a reality! 5 stars all the way.

There’s a reason why I use Dave Starling again and again. He is responsive, communicative, and reassuring throughout the whole mortgage process. Not only do I entrust him with my clients, who rely on both of us to help them navigate any challenges that should arise, but I use him personally with my private home and rental properties. He is very encouraging and positive, making my clients and I feel safe in his experienced hands. Thank you Dave for rocking at your profession!!!

Mark attended the closing which was a pleasant surprise as most lenders do not. Also Mark and his team kept us informed throughout the 6 week time frame before closing eventho we were on the sellers side. Good Job to Mark & his team.

Ashley is so kind and professional and helped me with any questions I had with the home buying process. Laura and her team empowered us and cheered us on the whole time. Will absolutely use them again and refer anyone to them who is starting the homebuying process.

This is my second time working with Joanne Hudson and Highland Mortgage. I don’t think there are words to describe the level of professionalism and standards they operate at. Buying a home can be very stressful, irritating, and discouraging at times but not with them. Joanne always made sure I had full visibility on what was going on, walked me through the entire process, and supported me throughout the whole process. If we ever move or buy again, we know who to use. Why go anywhere else when you can use they best there is!

Laura Heard at Highland Mortgage was a wonderful resource for us when we began our house buying experience in earnest. I had a complex situation that required a creative and out-of-the-box strategy in order to purchase my dream home, and Laura absolutely delivered. She and her support staff were professional, responsive, and resourceful every step of the way. What stood out most was their level of personal care. Laura did not just handle the mortgage process flawlessly. She showed up at each closing to support me personally. My situation involved multiple steps, and at every stage, I felt like I had a true partner in my corner. As someone who also works with Laura professionally, I already knew she had high standards and attention to detail. But going through the mortgage process with her firsthand gave me an even deeper appreciation for what she brings to the table. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Tara handled each roadblock thrown her way with ease. Her flexibility and problem-solving skills absolutely helped save this deal even though the issues at hand were through no fault of her own. I got a mortgage with Ed Subia. He was very helpful and made me feel like I was important and not like just another loan number.

Stuart Saunders is the very best broker. I’ve lost track of how many times I have sat with him at a closing table, and I would not want to work with anyone else to secure a mortgage. He is so resourceful and has helped us resolve problems he has never seen before. He is communicative, thorough, strategic and so much fun to work with. He is the best from beginning to close.

Eric's team knows what they are doing. I think this is the 3rd financing for home purchase they have done for me. About as painless as going through a loan application can be. Best part is they always seem to ask very everything upfront and once they have received everything it's just waiting until the closing time. No last minute requests. No delays at closing.

A great group to work with. Very easy, pleasant, and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

I had the pleasure working with Morgan Gall with Highland Mortgage. I highly recommend them! From start to finish, the process was smooth and Morgan was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. He took the time to explain all the options to my first time homebuyers and made sure they understood all the steps of the mortgage process. I look forward to working with Morgan and his team in the future.

Mark worked EXTREMELY hard to get my condo sold. There is no way we could have done it without his knowledge and perseverance!!!

Mark is the best! We were in a very aggressive market and Mark always responded quickly to provide numbers, answer questions, or otherwise keep us competitive. We were buying and potentially selling, so he stayed flexible and offered many options depending on sales price. He never seemed annoyed! He was always happy to help and it was a pleasure meeting him in person at closing. Oh and the cherry on top was a seamless closing experience. We had an excellent team all around.

Very quick service! The acceptance for a loan was back and approved in a couple of days. Cindy was very easy to work with, calm and professional no matter how frantic I got. She is very personable and pleasant. If needed, she was easily accessible by phone and never failed to answer my questions or help me find them. I would be pleased to work with her again. By the way, Cindy, good luck with the two new grandbabies. Bill Snow

Julie Edwards provided expert advice, strategizing, and troubleshooting for funding the purchase of my dream, fixer-upper home on Lake Lanier which I had previously been unable to close on with another lender due to challenges with financing for this particular home. From start to finish, she made the process as clear and convenient as possible. Her communication and coordination ensured a successful closing. I have never actually been to this building but I have had numerous contacts with Krishen Shah and all were pleasant and beneficial.. Well over a month ago my wife and I applied for a mortgage with his firm, Highland Mortgage, Atlanta, and that set off a perfect storm of communications that eventually led to success in what was a complicated set of circumstances. Throughout the process Krishen was available, receptive, thorough, informative and in a few instances calming. Looking back over the years which included the purchase of 12 or more homes, this was one of the more pleasurable mortgage encounters we have ever experienced. Krishen topped off the process by showing up at our closing this past Friday. Finally, we had a face-to-face conversation and were very pleased to meet the person behind all of the phone conversations and all of the correspondence we had waded through with him. We believe our closing went very smoothly because of his presence and accomplishments. In summation, Krishen could not have been more professional and pleasant to deal with. We would recommend him unconditionally.

I want to thank Highland Morgage and complete team for helping my husband and I purchase our first home. They literally took us step by step and very well up to date throughout the whole process to the end. Emails, phone calls and text, you name it, they surely did it all. My husband and I are so grateful for your awesome work, patience and teamwork. Specially Kiernan Shanaban (realtor) and Damon Surratt (Morgage Banker) who worked hand in hand with us nonstop at any time of the day. Thanks again for your expertise and guidance. Your insights were extremely valuable to us. We could not have done this without you.

Bart Hare and the team at Highland Mortgage were a huge blessing to my client! Another lender gave him the run around for over a month to just get pre-approved. As soon as we contacted Bart, my client was approved and the loan closed quickly and smoothly. Looking forward to working with Bart again on future closings!

Cindy was never too busy to answer our calls and many questions and/or concerns even after the deal was done.

Mark was phenomenal in helping us get the loan for our new home. During our application process it was clear Mark knew the best avenue for us to secure the loan in a timely manner. He promptly responded to questions and ensured that he or one of his staff members followed up on our inquires throughout the process. With his help, we were able to get our loan approved in less than a month and close on our home. This was a hassle free experience with the best outcome for us. We felt like Mark was working on our behalf and the proof was in the end results. We are grateful for Mark and his team.

Great team to work with throughout the mortgage process. Very easy to work with determining the best fit for our new home purchase. Exceptional communications and helpful attitudes from all members of Laura's team.

We have worked with Julie Edwards in the process of buying our new home in Atlanta. Julie is not your average Senior Mortgage Banker. I rarely see people deliver the level of service she does in any industry. First, she is an educator. She takes the time to give you real classes on how to understand all the processes and numbers behind getting a loan. I cannot overstate how stress-relieving this is, as it empowers us to understand and take charge of our decisions. Second, she is approachable, patient, and relatable. Julie takes the time to answer all your questions. More than that, she anticipates situations in which you might feel insecure and proactively reaches out to you. Julie works *with* you to find the best ways for you to achieve your goals. I cannot thank Julie enough. It has been such a privilege to know and work with such an amazing professional! Thank you!

Julie made the loan process easy by guiding me through the process every step of the way. The communication and responsiveness was top notch.

I have done both my mortgages with Mark at highland mortgage. Mark and the company make a stressful time easier with clear communication as well as answering any questions quickly and kindly.

David was so professional yet personable. Julie takes the same great care with all of my clients, no matter what type of purchase or challenge we may face. I never worry about anything when she is working with my Buyers. She is the best in the business, and I have seen many over the past 18 years selling homes in Atlanta.

I can't say enough postive things about my experience working with Highland Mortgage, and specifically with Eric Rothberg. From the inital process of submitting all of my documents via their portal so that I didn't have to email everything and fight with fire walls, to the various iterations of quotes he provided, and finally to closing and even recasting my loan on the new property after receiving closing funds after the fact on my prior property. The solutions were innovative and met my specific needs. The service and responsiveness was exceptional and he always made me feel like he had all the time in the world for me. I know that's because he's surrounded himself with a great team. I would highly recommend!

Wonderful experience, with a seamless closing!

I was referred to Mark by a friend. He was the first person I connected with, before a realtor or anyone else involved in the home buying process. After chatting with him, he was able to recommend a realtor that he thought my husband and I would work well with based on our personalities and communication style. Between Mark and our realtor, Valerie Gonzalez, we felt like we had the dream team! Being first-time homebuyers, we had A LOT of questions and Mark was incredibly responsive and patient with us. We loved the video explanations he would send us to better demonstrate how to read certain spreadsheets or think about certain decisions. Because Mark and Valerie frequently work together, they were able to streamline our due diligence period and actually get things done in a much shorter timeframe, which made our offer more competitive. I believe this was one of the biggest reasons why the seller accepted our offer over other competitive offers! There was never a time in the process where I didn’t feel 100% confident that Mark and his team weren’t on top of everything. Having that level of trust and comfort was huge for us! The entire process went incredibly smoothly and at closing, the seller agent even mentioned how impressed she was with Mark and his team. My husband happened to be chatting with a co-worker who was raving about his mortgage broker. Turns out, it was Mark! This word-of-mouth marketing is proof that Mark and his team are the best of the best! Thank you, Mark!

Daniel Dean and his team did a fantastic job. As a realtor I was updated throughout the process. My buyers loved their experience. I highly recommend this group.

Kyri Patterson is one of the best in the game! She always does all of her due diligence on the front end. Asking the right questions and collecting all of the documents that are needed to get the loan closed. With her there is no surprises that come up, due to her preparing so well and getting what is needed in the beginning. I love when someone takes the time out in the beginning to make sure that I am approved and I’m not getting denied in the end because the lender didn’t ask the proper questions or get the proper information upfront. I recommend Kyri P because her loans close, period!

Mark Milam and his Highland Mortgage crew are the best in the business. They are very organized, professional, and pay close attention to detail. I have done 4 properties with Mark, and any additional purchases in the future, he will definitely have my business!

I have an exceptional closing experience with Kyri Patterson. Thank again for your experience and patience during the process!

It was a big decision and Laura was able to send me all the different purchase scenarios and keep me updated on changing rates. Thanks to her recommendation we locked in a rate and were protected from a half point increase in rates. I really appreciated how patient she was and helpful to us during the process. I highly recommend Laura if you are looking to get financing to purchase a home. THANK YOU LAURA WITTE!!!
